back up procedure for Sky+ box.
- Plug out the mains lead at the wall
socket or at the back of the Sky+ box.
- Press and hold the left and right
buttons on the front of the Sky+ box (not on the remote) - see
below.
- Plug back in the mains lead, while
holding both buttons.
- After approximately 30 seconds the
circle of lights will come on - see below.
- Press the select button (see above)
and the display will circle backwards.
- The Sky+ box will then go into
standby.
- After about 2 minutes the box can be
turned back on as normal.
While
we have not experienced any problems, it has been suggested that viewing
cards be removed from the digibox before the above procedure. Simply
re-insert the viewing card when the digibox is turned back on.
